Due to rains from Hurricane Odile, we are keeping close tabs on the weather and on road conditions and will let you know if there are any changes to field trip times or destinations. Check back on the GCC or Gila River Festival Facebook pages for up-to-the-minute changes.
Please note: All field trips will leave rain or shine. Cancellations at this late date will not be refunded. If you voluntarily cancel your participation in the field trip, we will consider your field trip fee to be a donation.
Road Conditions: Highway 152 through the Black Range is closed from mile marker 40 (10 miles west of Hillsboro) to mile marker 22 (east of Bayard). Check http://nmroads.com for the latest road closures.

Saturday’s Kayak trip has been cancelled. Gila River gage data indicates that there will not be enough flow for rafting, but too much for safe kayaking. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please call the GCC office with any questions – 575-538-8078
